Prior to the Final Exams the student must pay his/her tuition fees.
If the student fails to conform to the terms of payments as stipulated in the Agreement, then the Institute may ask the student to leave the Institute and in such a case all rights of the student will be forfeited.
The Institute offers a 10% discount for CASH payments prior to/or at the beginning of the program.
Students will not be allowed to sit for their Final Exams UNLESS they have fully paid all their financial obligations.
Under no circumstances will the Institute issue Examination Results if NOT ALL financial obligations towards the Institute HAVE BEEN SETTLED.
Refund of Fees for Cash Payments (Payment of the total Annual fees)
Before the commencement of classes 70% of fees can be refunded within two weeks after the day of registration. However, only 50% of fees can be refunded if the cancellation of registration is effected 15 days or less BEFORE the commencement of the program of study.
After the commencement of classes 40% of fees can be refunded within two weeks after the student registers with the Institute. No refunds can be made after the lapse of two weeks from the day the student registers with the Institute.
The above refunds apply ONLY in the case of cash payments of the total amount of the annual fees. In the case of the student paying through instalments or post-dated cheques before or after the commencement of classes NO REFUNDS are available and THE INSTITUTE WILL DEMAND THE BALANCE OF OUTSTANDING FEES IF THE STUDENT FOR ANY REASON DECIDES TO WITHDRAW FROM THE INSTITUTE BEFORE THE PROGRAM IS DULY COMPLETED.
Entrance Requirements
BACHELOR DEGREES, DMM (Diploma in Marketing Management), BED (Business English Diploma, DSM (Diploma in Sales Management):
1. Secondary School Leaving certificate.
2. 5 O’ Levels and 2 A’ Levels or (equivalent) passes including one in English language with minimum grade C.
As a guide to students from Overseas the following examinations are among those recognised:
East Africa, Hong Kong, West Africa, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia Higher School Certificates with grade 6.
Successful completion of the First Year of our Bachelor Degree programs entitles the student to the award of the DMM (Diploma on Marketing Management).
Successful completion of the Second Year of our Bachelor Degree programs entitles the student to the award of an interim Advanced Diploma in their respective fields.
However, students can be exempted from the first year of our Bachelors Degree and enter directly into the Advanced Diploma PROVIDED they have one of the following qualifications:
(a) DMM
(b) Holders of OND/BTEC
(c) The Certificate of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in Marketing.
(d) 40 transfer credits from an accredited U.S. University in relevant fields
(e) Equivalent Qualifications in the respective fields of the study programs.
Upon successful completion of Year III the student will be awarded the BACHELORS DEGREE.
However, a student can be admitted into the FINAL YEAR (3rd year of a Bachelors Degree PROVIDED he/she possesses:
(a) An Advanced Diploma from this Institute
(b) HND BTEC from a relative discipline
(c) 90 transfer credits from an accredited U.S. University
(d) Professional qualifications such as the Advanced Certificate in Marketing of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), American Institute of Bankers, Chartered Institute of Bankers.
(e)Membership of the UK Institute of Certified Chartered Accountants, the Chartered Institute of Bankers, The Chartered Insurance Institute and any other Award from relevant Professional Bodies in the disciplines the student wishes to study.
